Welcome to the Government Student Loan Consolidation Site!

If you are someone who is looking into starting college for the first time, or even continuing your education, you have inevitably been looking into student loans.

Federal Government Loans:

Some loans are funded through the government and offer very low interest loans. Always the best solution to pay for not only your college tuition, but books and other miscellaneous expenses that always crop up. Most of the government loans do not have to be paid back until 6 months after you graduate college and offer lower payments during difficult times – such as being out of work.

Perkins loan:

A federal student loan available for students attending an accredited college or university. Only available for students in their first undergraduate or graduate program and have any extraordinary financial need. To determine eligibility, you must complete  Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Private Loans:

There are others that are not government loans and weeding through them can be time consuming and confusing. Make sure you do your research and find out:

  • How much can I borrow?
  • What is the Interest Rate?
  • When do I have to begin paying back the loan?
