is medical assistance worth the time student loans and patients? ? or should i continue looking for education?
I was in medical school, but it only depressed me and put me in an more depressing state. The teachers weren’t any help at all shallow and unwilling to genuinely help me. Should i not give up and try other colleges or should i pursue another career? ? Lonely worker at heart. .
iam a 23 year old, undergraduate medical student, i have 14 days left to finish my finals and be a real doctor! iam depressed to the limit, that im not studying and answering yahoo questions instead, i never liked biology or medicine but i was always a hard working student at school , my father is a happy surgeon, ive been regreting attending medical school from the first day, especially with all these Nerds around me who would get 95/100 in an exam that i could only answer 5/100 ,, if u ARE REALLY INTERESTED IN MEDICINE KEEP ON GOING NO MATTER HOW HARD IT IS, BECAUSE IN THE END IT IS A GREAT JOB TO DO, U WILL ALWAYS FEEL SUTTISFIED,
AND ILL GIVE U THUMBS UP FOR “MONEYWISE”. IF U R NOT TRUELY INTERESTED JUST LEAVE IT IMMEDIATLY.
Is there any help available to pay back student loan? I graduated back in 2001.?
In the last 4 years I have had financial hardship, being a single parent of 6 children, and was not able to maintain monthly payments for my loan and now my paycheck is being garnished. I am a NYS Registered Nurse and can not afford to make the payments, I already had a few forbearances for the loan. Is there any help ?
nobody is going to give you the money to pay off your loan. You may be able to work out a payment plan with the lender though. I would get on that ASAP, there is no such thing as bankruptcy for student loans, they are going to get their money one way or another. If you are an RN, you should be able to pay SOMETHING towards your loans that you promised to pay back

I am in negotiations for a payment plan for back taxes owed to the IRS and just received my student loan refund. Is it possible to just cash it and keep it at home, or not even bother keeping it if the IRS is just going to take it? I owe the IRS quite a bit of money and am making arrangements with them to pay it back, but could use this student loan refund.
Since you receive the refund, it is not garnished. Use it to pay your taxes after you have a payment plan in place.
When you agree to have a payment plan with IRS, stay with it and do not default it because the total amount of taxes owed will become due and payable and perhaps difficult to handle.
When the payment is in place and the payments are made regularly there will be no garnishment unless there are other taxes owed.
