Can still get student loan if I transfer university?

Hi I am a second year student in London and I have decided to transfer University. The problem is that the University I am transferring to will only accept me in if I agree to retake second year.

Now I will like to know if I’ll still be able to get funded by the student loan company for the rest of my degree, that means an extra year of study.

Naturally, I would argue yes, that’s merely another year of business you would be giving them; however, I would contact the company and let them know your situation. They’re usually pretty easy to work with.
