Are there any student loans available that you can repay after graduation apart from student loan company?

Or are there any US lenders that provide student loans to Uk residents? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Student loans are heavily subsidised by tax payers and are underwritten by the government. That is why they are only available to qualified applicants. For example, an international student in the UK does not qualify for a student loan.

Students are a very poor credit risk. An unsecured loan that is made on the open market will carry an extremely high interest rate (think credit card type numbers).

Then again, if you want it to be non-interest paying for three years, that will be wrapped into the original loan which could easily have doubled by the time you start repaying.

If you are not able to qualify for tax-payer subsidised loans and the university you are applying to is not so enchanted by you that they want to offer you financial aid, you really only have two choices; pay cash or study where you do qualify.

Do you think I’d be better off doing volunteer work or still waste my time job-hunting with no success?

It’s been about 18 months since I’ve graduated college, & I still can’t find a job. How am I gonna pay off my student loans if can’t work?

know you continue to seek work . They will go easier on you .
Volunteering can lead to Job Leads , depends where you do
Volunteering . Student Finance may ” Push ” you to do ‘ Any ‘ work to get
going ! Job – Agencies ( Temps ) Should Offer a quicker solution !
Suggestion : Budget your time, you will be able to do both !
Do Volunteer Work in the Afternoon, this way you can ‘ temp’ work 4 to 6
hours in the am . Let the Agent know that you have this college training
they may have a company in their Listing , to match your training !
Go to the Job – Agency with a “Positive Attitude ” , they will be more Inclined to help ! The ‘ temp’ Job the Agency sends you to, may have
an ” Apprenticeship Program ” to help you to get Started !

How can I find out the disbursement dates for my 2010-2011 William Ford Direct Student Loan?

Last year, I was able to view my loan information on the Sallie Mae website. But this year, since my college has switched to the William D Ford Direct student loan program, I can’t seem to find any information pertaining to disbursement dates on my school’s website or on studentloans.gov’s website. Am I missing something? Does anyone know where I can go online to view this information?
